Amazon "add to basket button" not working on OP6

    I'm trying to buy something using the Amazon app but for some reason when I press the "add to basket" button nothing happens. At first I thought it was an issue with the Amazon app but my son tried it on his Xiaomi phone and it worked fine. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and also restarted the phone and cleared cache but still have the same issue. I've had the phone over a year and never had this issue before, any help would be appreciated.

    This is app specific issue and it has nothing to do with the device.

    Kindly check if you have stable internet connection.

    I just checked. You are right, it's happening. I found a solution though. Just try adding several items to cart one by one (even if it doesn't work), keep pressing "Add to Cart". After a while, you will be able to add items normally.

    He has stated clearly that he tried in another phone and it is likely not an app specific issue. Has nothing to do with internet connection.

    I have checked this question, opened my Amazon app, pressed Add to basket button and Bingo. It worked for me. My guidance was to provide what MIGHT be the issue or a fix.

    like I said, my son tried it on his phone and it worked fine so there is nothing wrong with the Amazon app. My internet is fine, everything is working fine, I can still search for items but just the "add to basket" button does nothing

    You were definitive in saying that it had nothing to with the device. Well, that's not correct. As I can see, it might be an issue with the device too. Can't rule that out.

    Do you mean device will restrict a user from adding the item into the basket. Come on, I am a software developer.

    Not that. Could be some sort of temporary issue. It's happening with me too. I am able to add certain items, but not others. No idea why.

    Thanks for the advice but doesn't seem to work for me. I must have pressed the "add to basket" button around 50 times on 10 different items but still no success.

    True, something weird going on. Was working fine till yesterday. Which OOS version are you running? Stable or Beta?

    This happens to me too. 1 of the items that I want does add to basket but the other 2 don't. But most items I'm randomly trying to add don't get added.

    as far as I'm aware it's not the beta so must be the stable version, I only install when something pops up on my phone that there is an update.

    Looks like the issue is now fixed for me. Maybe it was just a one day problem.
